With a history of 27 years, Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai) has grown up to one of the most influential auto events in the world, an important platform of trade and information exchange for national and international automotive industry and an important carrier to lead automobile consumption and industrial development. Debuted as the first China auto event in Shanghai in 1985, the biennial event has become a member of International A-Level Auto Shows. In 2011, Auto Shanghai has attracted 2000 automotive enterprises from 20 countries and regions.
